Constructs for Chaos
Thymian Gadd is a queer-genderqueer writer-artist originally from London, UK. They studied drawing, photography, sculpture and writing at ECUAD. Over their time at Emily Carr they’ve discovered that their art-making and writing practices blend and inform each other in unexpected ways. Within their visual work they enjoy exploring themes and visual imagery of physics, topography and microbiology. Their writing explores themes of healing, gender, and art and takes the form of poetry, prose poetry, creative non-fiction and essay. They are currently working on a manuscript that they hope to publish.
