Mikaela Kautzky (she/they) is an interdisciplinary artist who currently lives and works on the stolen traditional territories of the xwməθkwəyə̓ m (Musqueam), Sḵwxw̱ ú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and səlı̓ lw̓ ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, currently known as “vancouver.”

Kautzky enjoys working with a participatory, interactive, or collaborative approach and has recurring interests in themes of play and materiality. Often employing mediums such as homemade dyes/paints, textiles, mosaics, film, writing, and photography Kautzky is interested in exhibition making as well as creative direction projects for fashion and sport brands.
