Artist Statement

Topics of death, consciousness and perception have been the center point of attention in my filmography in recent years. I aim to depict how reality would be if we understood these things in a different light. What if life goes on after death? What if one begins to lose consciousness just becoming an empty figure? This is the fulcrum of my filmmaking practice. With special attention to photography in my films, I aim to create a beautiful world where melancholy and confusion are ever present.
